POSTPARTUM II

Through the haptic nature of Postpartum II, the work continues to explore the aftermath of giving birth. A time that can be both overwhelmingly joyful but also invasive and deeply traumatic. The latex finger cots used for this work, are clinical and manmade but when closely combined mimic forms found within nature, causing the viewer to look at both the organic and inorganic nature of birth.
