POSTPARTUM

In the artwork Postpartum, the weight, height and circumference of the work relate directly to Kunwar’s experience of postpartum haemorrhage. Through removing the female figure from her portraits the artist hopes to provide a space focused on, but not confined by the female form, offering a way to explore unspoken experiences and emotions.
